Back Again :)

Sorry guys, I havent been on much recently, anyway, minecraft 1.7.2 just came out on Bukkit and Spigot. Our server just updated, and the experience has been truely amazing!! Horses and stained glass have been super crazy. I want to start filming a lets play or just stream my footage fom my server gameplay on twitch when the update come out. Anywho...going to interview for a full ride scholarship tomorrow, hopefully I get it so I can buy a car and some better computer tech. I also got my HAM radio license from the FCC, my callsign is KD0YEB, going to buy a radio soon :)

Well hey there, Ya'll!

Hello again! Ive been a bit busy with school stuffs..... Its really exiting if you don't already know. Anyway a few things this week. First, There's a new Minecraft snapshot! 13w41b introduces STAINED GLASS!!!!! Finally! Ive been wanting this for ever! Here's a video to show ya if you haven't seen it already. Ignore him saying staintid glass....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PtvJImyz2M I can't wait for 1.7! It is rumored to come out November 1, 2013. Looking super duper forward to its release for normal Minecraft. In other news, Minecraft Pocket Edition will release 0.8.0 on November 8th, 2013. Lots of great minecraft updates planned for November, Bra jobb Mojang! (Swedish for good job :) )

Closed America

In other news, The U.S. Government will reach it's debt ceiling tomorrow, October 17th. This will mean that we will not be able to repay U.S. Bonds sold to others, like China. in theory, China could cash all of it's U.S. holding in and request territory if the government couldn't pay them back. Hopefully this isn't realistic however or I would but my Second Amendment rights to work....I think this whole thing is ridiculous, if we aren't getting paid, neither should Congress. This would force them to starve or make a decision.

Let me elaborate on whats closed and such. Right now the U.S. Parks service is mostly whats fully closed.
Essential Employees- Essential is defined as any government service that prevents anarchy pretty much. These are suppose to be the 'Paid' employees. However, these 'essential' employees are being forced to work for free. They MIGHT recieve backpay that could take up to 4 months to be payed back. (Source, family friend) If workers take a day off, they will be fired. If they refuse to work for free, they will be fired for insubordination. Also, most Federal workers have to maintain good credit to maintain clearance. If they lose good credit they will be fired. The government is expecting their workers to maintain good credit while they are not getting paid, WHAT THE HELL CONGRESS AND OBAMA?! My prediction for when this will end is this weekend after they realise they cannot borrow any more money and are screwed. I believe one of these events will lead to the downfall of America if not today, in the future.

TSA, my arch enemy is still fully functional, and i will still get thourgouly searched at the airport this weekend..... I always ask them to buy me dinner while they are patting me down.....

As we transition into 1.7 in the next few weeks, I would like to voice my opinion as well as express the opinions of others.

Economy
Please let us have player Chestshops back?
The current system doesn't work when administration keeps jacking down sell prices for (Diamonds). By adjusting the prices, you make the economy act like it would with chestshops. I refuse to sell my items to the shop anymore because the material worth is greater than any monetary value it generally is assigned.

Mods
Could we get a few new cool mods for use by all? More Ores and Campfire would be neat. Nothing too terribly game changing but some change would be cool.

New UN Arms Treaty

Guns. Since the late 1600's Firearms have ruled the world.

     The new UN treaty signed by our wonderfully smart Sec of State, John Kerry will limit the US on what guns we will be able to import from other countries. No more Lugers guys :( Anyhow, This will require the US to submit a complete list to the UN detailing recipients of international firearms and ammunition trade. So unless you want every single other country knowing that you bought a gun, you need to ask your congressmen and women to not ratify this treaty.


     As mass shooting have tended to rise over the years due to American's unwillingness to institutionalize the mentally ill, and for states not to report the names of their mentally ill to NICS, they will continue to rise. The Obama Administration is on a mission to get rid of our guns.

Anyway, a little bit of my opinion since im doing a speech on gun rights.

Game Spotlight: Minecraft

The Wonderful World of Minecraft

So this is probally one of my faviourite games of all time! Sure its all pixelated and things of that nature, but that is what makes this game unique and gives the gameplay that"oh I know what that game it" feel when you glance at someone playing it at Starbucks or somewhere.

There is no real objective point to the game, or end point as in sterotypical games. Minecraft was develoved by Mojang AB in Stockholdom, Sweden back in 2010. It since then had sold over 18 million PC coppies and countless coppies of the Pocket Edition for Andriod and iOS devices. There is even an XBOX 360 version and PS4 and PSVITA consoles are currently in development.  Mojang AB is currently estimated to be worth and/or exceeding 80 million USD. The founder and primary creater, Marcus Peterson, commonly called 'Notch' by the Minecrafting community is estimated to be worth $150 million USD. Notch retired from the Minecraft project in 2012 to move onto other games. The game is currently headed by Jens Bergensten, generally called 'Jeb'.

In Minecraft you can craft swords, build mansions, kill zombies and skeleton archers. You can build anything you can possibly immagine including starships, mazes, zepplins, and your own house. You can build vast mining systems to harvest precious diamonds, coal, and redstone, the games' electrical source.

There is somewhat of an endpoint, however this is to signify you ore the best of the best. You have to complete all of the achevements to reach, no joke, The End. Filled with the dangerous Endermen and the famed Enderdragon, it takes real skill to defeat the Enderdragon. You collect tons of XP and then you go through a wierd ass cutscene where the gods of the mountain or something talk to you. you then go back to your world and keep playing.

There are various modifications for Minecraft thatt are called MODS. Some common modpacks are Tekkit, Voltz, FTB, and Technic. These mods add technology from mining turtles to missles you can launch to coordinates. Yes they have ICBMs. Quite fun but complicated.

So I might ocassionally do mod spotlights or things of that nature so keep a look out. Multiplayer is also quite ful I am an admin on Astromc http://astromc.enjin.com/ if you wanna check it out, its real fun :)

Something to Make you Wonder

March 26, 1992

Cosmonaut 3rd Class Sergei Krikalev, a cosmonaut for the USSR became a 'space hostage'. During his flight of nearly 10 months, the USSR had fought off a coup and disbanded. Budget problems in the new Russia, territorial disputes  and many other issues left Krikalev stranded in the Mir Space station, miles above the Earth.

Can you even begin to imagine what life would be like if you took a 10 month trip and come back home to find out that your whole entire country had changed? Even down to your city's name changing.

I know I cannot personally imagine this. The change for him must of been tremendous.
